Medieval Journey

The Medieval Journey (VM) is the largest event of medieval historical recreation in the country. It takes place every year, for ten consecutive days, in the historical centre of the city of Santa Maria da Feira, attracting 50 thousand visitors every day.
With unique characteristics in the country, this project stands out for its historical accuracy, size (space and time) and involvement of the local population and associations, reinforcing a vast team of over a thousand people from various areas, 250 of whom are volunteers.
